I was born on Canada's East Coast in Nova Scotia, then after a few years we moved  to Ontario. Growing up, I've always enjoyed drawing and creating things. When I was in my teens, I sketched a design that came to me, of three connected rings. I remember thinking it would make an interesting game board, even though I had no idea what game it would be used for. The idea stayed with me for years. Nearly twenty years later, after moving to Canada's West Coast, I finally began designing a game that fit the board I had imagined all those years before. Rather than inventing a new board, I returned to that original concept and built the game around it. Three Rings is the result of an idea that waited patiently for the right game to come along.
